Matt Freeman is a Melbourne-based horror writer whose short story collection, Old monsters, is shortlisted for the Richell Prize.

His work has been commended by the Katherine Susannah Prichard Foundation and the Fellowship of Australian Writers and published in Two Wolves Digest and Aurealis.

He is currently completing an Associate Degree of Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT University.
